 Welcome to my watercolor web site and my Chesapeake Bay studio in
Deltaville, Virginia! I love to paint the wildlife, gardens and undersea world of
the Chesapeake Bay Region and the Florida Keys in creative and colorful interpretations
and look forward to sharing my work with you. I call my style of painting
“impressionistic realism” and aim for a luminous flow of colors that shows off

 I am now working in a new Studio/Gallery and it has been exciting to set up my new atelier! With lots of windows and natural light, my indoor studio is an ideal painting space. Outside my windows in my "plein air studio", I am able to work on the banks of a fresh-water lake just off the Piankatank River and the Chesapeake Bay. The property is a true wildlife habitat and sanctuary with an abundance of songbirds, wading birds, birds of prey (we have a resident Eagle!) turtles, ducks and deer. My Studio/Gallery is now open by appointment for patrons to view my paintings. Watch for future shows which will be listed in my 2004 show schedule! I am always adding new work for display at each show and I hope to see you there! My newest original is of an Osprey flying into the nest which I am now offering as a Limited Edition Print. See the photo below! For those of you who have asked about classes, I've planned a series of classes and workshops for Spring and Summer, 2004!
